Before transitioning to real estate full-time, Chad honed his financial expertise supporting high-net-worth clients at U.S. Bank in private banking and financial services. He later expanded his knowledge in investment and insurance support at U.S. Bancorp Investments & Insurance and CUNA Mutual Group.

When he entered the real estate industry in 2018, he quickly realized that this financial background was a powerful asset for his clients. It allowed him to evaluate properties not just as homes, but as investment opportunities, navigating market conditions with a level of confidence that sets him apart. Prior to joining Avatina in 2024, Chad held licenses with Keller Williams Honolulu and eXp Realty, gaining a breadth of industry experience.

Education & Roots

Originally from Iowa, Chad built his academic foundation in the Midwest. He earned an Associate Degree in Business from North Iowa Area Community College (NIACC) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Edgewood College in Madison, Wisconsin.

His life journey took him across the mainland before he ultimately found his home in Hawai‘i in 2017. Since moving to the islands, he has fully embraced the local culture and lifestyle, grateful for the opportunity to live and work in such an extraordinary location.

Life in the Islands

Outside of real estate, Chad is an active member of the community who takes full advantage of the island lifestyle. You can often find him playing golf, tennis, beach tennis, or pickleball. He also enjoys paddle boarding, hiking, and simply relaxing at the beach with family and friends. His passion for life in Hawai‘i shines through in his work—helping others find their own place to call home in paradise.
